Lincoln Pipeliner 16P is a low-hydrogen mild steel stick electrode designed for demanding pipe welding applications. It is classified as AWS A5.1 E7016-H4 / E7016-1 H4 and is designed for applications including root pass welding on pipe.
Lincoln recommends DC- (DCEN) polarity for root pass welding. Pipeliner 16P is suitable for all-position welding except vertical down and was designed for use on applications including X60 and X70 grade pipe.
