317L stainless steel TIG (GTAW) welding alloy 3/32" x 36 in. x 10 lb. box - 317LT50
ER317L Stainless steel GTAW (TIG) is a highly-alloyed molybdenum-bearing welding rod used to weld metals of similar composition. Its 3% max. carbon content performs well in areas of severe corrosion such as chemical and paper plants.
Features
- Stainless steel 317L welding rod welds molybdenum-bearing alloys
- Lower carbon content (.03% max.) resists carbide precipitation that can cause weld corrosion
- 87,000 psi tensile strength (as welded)
- 55,000 psi yield strength (as welded)
- 47% elongation; 70% reduction of area (as welded)
- 85 HRB Rockwell B hardness (as welded)
- 160 HB Brinell hardness (as welded)
- 105 ft./lb. @ room temperature Charpy V (as welded)
