Tri-Mix tungsten electrode (AWS classification EWG) combines three non-radioactive rare earth materials (La2O3, Y2O3, CeO2) into one tungsten. Extensive testing has resulted in the development of an optimum composition blend for a high performing tungsten electrode. Performance features include: Easy arc starting and re-ignition, high arc pressure, very good arc stability, excellent endurance. Suitable for carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum. AC or DC applications.
