Compact, portable and capable of cutting up to 1/2-inch steel at recommended production speeds, the Hypertherm Powermax 33 XP delivers 15โ33 amps of plasma cutting power from either 120 V or 240 V single-phase input power.
Designed for fabrication, maintenance, repair, farm, automotive and field work, the 33 XP combines professional cutting performance with a system weighing only 21.4 lb.

When connected to 120 V power, Hypertherm recommends using FineCut consumables.
Run It on 120 V or 240 V Power
Hypertherm Auto-Voltage technology allows the Powermax 33 XP to operate from either 120 V or 240 V single-phase input power. Plug adapters are included with CSA models, giving you flexibility when moving between the shop, garage, maintenance area or jobsite.
On 240 V input power, the system can deliver the full 33-amp output. When connected to 120 V power, available cutting output is reduced.

Standard Consumables
Standard consumables are used when you want the Powermax 33 XP's higher-power cutting capability on thicker material.
FineCut Consumables
FineCut consumables are designed for thinner metal where a narrower kerf and finer cut quality are more important. Hypertherm also recommends FineCut consumables when cutting on 120 V input power.
